Fin's FIRST Birthday Party

A Photo Essay of Fin's Party.
The Invite & The Table

It's strawberry season!
I made a spongecake with a strawberry jam fresh berry filling.
Steve made the real whip cream.
Fin's cake was french vanilla. YUMMY!

Strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese icing.
(Yes, Heather I'll make them for your 40th bday party!)

I decorated a few with little gummie animals.
They were a hit with the kids.

Fin playing UNDER the table.
I used to do the same thing at parties when I was a kid.

Opening Presents

Finley & Ike
I think they played hard to get with each other for like 5 seconds.

Mmm Cake. Steve serving up cake to Uncle Ryan.

Thanks Lauren!
The cupcake tower is from Target. I bought it 2 Christmases ago to use at our wedding and added a couple of matching pieces from the line last year -so I'm hoping they bring it out again this xmas.

I want to be your daughter. Will you and Steve throw me a princess party with the pink spread, jelly bellies, cupcakes, cake, and strawberry sponge cake with homemade whip cream? I'll be 40 next year. Maybe we could do it in Costa RIca! hee hee Daddy is good helper and your house is gorgeous! Finley Mae is such a precious little girl. She's sooo smart too! :)

Well isn't she a doll. I'm sure Ethan would be very flirtatious around that little cutie.
