- TALES to RIVAL MULBERRY STREET. My MUSE is MY family. Censor -SHIP occasionally advised. All of my writings are truthful, based on how I recal the events. I write two Blogs: Earth to Mother Ship are ramblings en route to parenthood. Ship Wreck includes comedic based family essays and articles penned from personal experiences. My father once said he should legally change our last name from SHIPLEY to SHIP WRECK - the blog title is a tribute. I am a Canadian (a.k.a non-immigrant alien) living in the US of A with my husband, our tiny dog and a new baby. In my off-line world I work as a freelance television producer specializing mostly in comedic and popculture based programming for; The Comedy Nework, CTV, Life, Slice and MTV networks and I balance all that entertainment gack by teaching Yoga - simply because I love it.
